What makes EFLA®
940 Pumpkin Seed Extract Plus special?
Not all pumpkin seed extracts are effective
because the nutrients in them can be easily destroyed. However, EFLA®
940 is extracted using a patented technology to preserve these nutrients
and is backed by clinical studies. An international medical magazine,
‘Natural Medicine’ reported the presence of hydrophilic
ingredient in EFLA® 940 that is indeed helpful in preventing and
treating benign prostatic hyperplasia and women’s urinary incontinence
problems.
EFLA® 940 is patented in many
countries for its 3 manufacturing processes:
- Removal of fat to eliminate the harmful
degenerative and oxidative actions.
- Removal of toxic heavy metals and farm
chemicals.
- Extraction of ingredients with high
water affinity for high absorption rate. (Increased safety and stability)

Urinary
Incontinence
1 in 10 people suffer from urinary incontinence
often referred to as “poor bladder control”, “overactive
bladder” or “weak bladder” and simply means difficulty
holding back the urge to urinate. This results in leaks which can exact
a considerable toll on the quality of life, interfering with work, social
activities, and sex. Many suffer in silence as they are too embarrassed
to seek help, or they assume that it’s a natural part of the ageing
process not knowing that without intervention, this condition can only
get worse!
Incontinence affects both men and women,
young and old and this problem becomes more severe with advancing age.
It’s a very common problem with 53.1% of women and 29.9% of men
exhibiting some of its symptoms*.

Urinary Problems in Men
- Weak urinary flow, straining to urinate,
dribbling, bladder still feeling full after urinating, difficulty
in postponing urination, and frequent urination at night. These are
common urinary problems that affect men.
- Although most urinary problems in men
are caused by BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or prostate enlargement),
many who are suffering from these conditions do not necessarily have
BPH. Other reasons causing incontinence include weakening of pelvic
floor muscles and a disorder recognised as pollakiuria.
- Conventional treatment that addresses
only prostrate enlargement may not necessarily yield satisfying results!
Fact: 80%
of elderly men suffer from Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia!
The prostate is situated
at the back of the bladder’s neck and urethra. Prostate
hypertrophying results in symptoms like difficulty in urination,
frequent micturition and pain during urination. The leftover
urine causes inflammation in the urethra. This could also result
in renal failure. According to the conducted research, over
60% of 60-year-old men and 90% of 80-year-old men, have benign
prostatic hyperplasia problems. Alarmingly, this problem is
also present in men 40-50 years old.

Incontinence in Women
- Women are twice as likely as men to have urinary
incontinence due to hormonal changes (eg. perimenopause, menopause),
pregnancy, childbirth, constipation and inactivity.
- Here are some of the reasons:
- Stress and damage to the pelvic floor muscles sustained during pregnancy
and childbirth
- Weakening of urinary sphincter with advancing age
- Loss of elasticity of the pelvic floor muscles
Leading Cause
of Incontinence
in Women
When the urinary sphincter and pelvic
floor muscles lose their elasticity and strength, any increase
in abdominal pressure such as coughing, sneezing, laughing, running
or lifting of heavy objects can cause leakage.

Pumpkin seed’s
water-soluble ingredient
immediately improves urinary problems and dysfunctions!
The European and Chinese have been using
pumpkin seed as a treatment for prostatic hyperplasia since ancient
times. The Outline Treatise of Medical Herbs in China and Germany has
recorded the use of pumpkin seed (Cucurbita pepo) in curing urinary
incontinence, sensitive bladder and benign prostatic hyperplasia problems.
Announcement by ‘Natural
Medicine’ a well-known international medical magazine:
EFLA®940 is effective in treating men and women’s urinary
problems especially women in menopause and men’s benign prostatic
hyperplasia.
